Matthew Sawicki has been involved in the occult scene for over 30 years. He has studied with and is initiated into several traditions of witchcraft including the New York Wica (Gardnerian) Tradition, The Minoan Brotherhood, and other older craft traditions, working with groups from New York, London and Los Angeles. He learned the bulk of his craft in the apothecary of Enchantments, Inc. in the East Village of New York City in the 1990's under the original owner, his High Priestess, Carol Bulzone. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Textile Arts from Syracuse University and has worked extensively in the floral design and event industries since he was 15 years old, as well as practicing various other art forms over the years.

Matthew has also incorporated his life-long love of ceramics with his new product line of Spellcaster's Ceramics. And so, after many years involved in all of these things, he has decided to combine his expertise in bringing Witch & Famous apothecary, The Witch’s Garden florals and Spellcaster's Ceramics to life, offering his approach to a magickal lifestyle to the world.
